Dysart harbour at sun set.
Dysart is not too far from where I live, and is an excellent spot for photography.
Sun setting to the south west of Dysart harbour, Fife, Scotland.
I captured this image with my drone, I was here for around two hours and managed to photograph the beach and coast line around this lovely village in Kirkcaldy. The plan was to take images with my DSLR during the golden hours and get the drone up around 15 minutes before the sun set. This image was the stand out of todays walk about with my DSLR and drone.
I love coming here during any month really, usually with Betsy. At the harbour there is a nice café to try if you visit. The beach and rocks are wonderful to capture too during the tides. The tide was on its way out when I arrived, and its a good idea to check the tide times and weather before coming here. The south west was a wonderful colour and to the east (out of the image) the sky was a darker shades of blue. Just don’t pack up and go after sun set, look up and see the ever changing colours of the sky. You potentially could capture something really nice.
I will be back here again in the winter months. Tomorrow I will go on the opposite side, to South Queensferry over the Queensferry bridge over the River Forth.
